The project

A verandah home, made at home in its place

The Darling Point project is a bespoke residence with Hancock Architects. Deep verandahs, restrained materiality, and an east-facing aspect that orchestrates the day’s light from morning to evening.

[Specific project narrative — design intent, key construction moments, material palette — will be supplied by HP and Hancock Architects.]

The standard the drawings demanded was the standard the home was built to. No compromise on the details that will not be visible in twelve months but will be felt for the life of the home.

[Construction narrative to be supplied — typically describing structural decisions, exposure to weather, and craft moments specific to this project.]

The architect was on site weekly. The drawings were the brief. The brief was honoured.
